Q: I want one! Where do you post to?

Great! We now post to the UK, Europe, America, Australia and New Zealand. If you’d like one posted somewhere else, just send us an email to hello@the-painted-house.co.uk

Q: Is it as easy to use as it looks?

We think so! Check out our videos and pdf downloads at https://www.the-painted-house.co.uk/page/applicators-and-designs and with just a little practice you’ll see how straight forward it is!

Q: What type of paint should I use?

We recommend using completely flat/matt water based paint. Our preferred paint is Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Q: Do the walls need to be completely smooth?

No, one of the extra benefits of our rollers is that as they’re soft they move to fit into indentations/marks in a wall.

Q: What about the top, and edges…how do you get the roller tight into these areas?

There will always be a small area that the roller can’t get into. You have a few options, you can either work this into the design - it's remarkable how consistent this small gap is, so it actually creates a frame. I’ve actually seen examples of customers using masking tape to make the frame bigger and it looks amazing. Alternatively, I’m fond of using a small detail brush/cotton bud and just doing random little dots and dashes in these gaps.
